As you give thanks with your friends and families today please remember to extend grace and gratitude to your neighbors as well. While the country seems to be returning to a modified version of some pre-pandemic norms, many families are still struggling with the lingering financial, physical, and mental health effects of COVID-19. A small act of kindness, or a show of empathy and compassion to our neighbors, are often the small blessings needed to get through these challenges. With the beginning of this Season of Giving, turn your grace into action and support your local businesses on Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and consider supporting AIRS | EHM | City Steps on Giving Tuesday. Supporting our local businesses and the organizations that offer critical services to our neighbors, helps us all in this recovery. Finally, our administrative offices are closed Thursday and Friday in observance of the holiday. We will return to the office on Monday, November 29th. Our first community service event since the pandemic began was an awesome success. Staff joined one of our board members ( AvalonBay Communities always comes though) and our newest corporate partner Milwaukee Tool Company for painting and light landscaping at Don Miller Homes.

We started bright and early at 8:30 with Starbucks coffee (thanks!) and provided the equivalent of one week of time for a maintenance tech in about four hours!

The clients and staff love the new look of their common area spaces.

On this 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, we honor the souls we lost that day and in the years since. May we never forget their sacrifice and strive to make make our world a better place for all.
