As a father our responsibilities do not stop once our children become adults. In fact, there are times they seem to be even more intense. I my self have raised 2 of my 3 daughters and 2 of 3 of my step children. Now with them all being adults and more of them having their own children and families, I find myself needed at time for daily guidance. Weather it be work, friends, or relationships, my children still come to see dad for some helpful advice and guidance. And my situation has made it easier to be the daytime care giver for their children as well. So now I find myself taking care of 3 to 6 children on a regular basis. The hardest part is when I have all 6, which includes the 3 infants. It almost feels like I am back where I started 25+ years ago as a single father with my 6 month baby girl. It definitely has it's struggles but, I would not change it for the world.

This was so true for me sometimes as a father. If I could not afford it, I did not get it for myself.

Been really busy the past few weeks. Had a lot going on with the grandbabies. I have been busy taking care of 3 infants, 2 young children, and sometimes 1 toddler. I have had my hands full trying to balance my time but, I am doing what needs to be done to help my children.

As some of you know I was a single father. I have 3 beautiful daughters and 2 beautiful step-daughters. I can relate to this with 100% certainty. No matter how old they get, they will always be MY BABIES!
There is noting in this world that I love more than my babies. Well, maybe my grandbabies.

It amazes me how a woman call call a father a deadbeat when he only wants to be able to have time with his children. just because you carried them for nine months doesn't mean they are yours only. It takes two to make a child. Fathers should always have just as much right to have their children as woman.

Being a single parent was without a doubt one of the most difficult responsibilities I have ever had in my life. It was very hard at times but, it was worth it.

Though this is a very inspiring quote, I must say that is is not always as true to the words. I myself, was not the perfect role model for my children. Even though I was a single father, I myself was a mess as person for a long time and my children had to see and deal with that at times. But, they have shown me that I wanted to be a better man and father for them.

Hello everyone. Unfortunately, I have to make major adjustments to my my schedule and have still not been able to be online much. I now have to sit with Grandchildren after school and weekends, not to mention caring for a newborn while the daddy works. I am sorry I have not been on for a while. I have had to deal with a lot of things going on in my life. With 3 new grandbabies within weeks apart. There has been some complications, but all is well. I will be making time to make regular updates to the page. I thank you all for your patience.
