It is with heavy hearts that we have to share the sad news that Hotel Brexton is temporarily closing due a lightning strike, during the most recent bout of storms. Thank you to our patrons, the neighborhood of Mount Vernon and the city of , for your continued support. We will be working hard to get up and running as soon as possible!

Baltimore's Hotel Brexton to close for renovations after lightning strike; owner hopes to sell property The Hotel Brexton, a boutique hotel in Mount Vernon, will close June 11th for at least the rest of the year for renovations after the 137-year-old building was hit by lightning earlier this month. The owner wants to sell it.

The is just around the corner! The last time a married an American, it was Brexton's very own Wallis Simpson. Fun Fact: Wallis Simpson choose to wear blue on her wedding day, custom designed by MAINBOCHER in 1937.
