💙⚾ Honoring Jim Bantel ⚾💙

On Saturday, June 13 at 2:00 PM CT, Ballwin Athletic Association will hold a special dedication ceremony in memory of James Alan "Jim" Bantel.

For years, Jim's tireless efforts, dedication, and commitment helped shape our ballpark into the special place it is today. His impact can be seen throughout the park, but more importantly, it can be felt by the generations of players, families, volunteers, and friends who have called BAA home.

As part of the ceremony, we will unveil a permanent dedication honoring Jim's contributions and the legacy he leaves behind.

As the quote chosen for the dedication reminds us:

"It is good people who make good places."

Jim was certainly one of those people.

🎣 On the bright side, we're getting close to converting the ballpark into the BAA Fishing Derby. Rumor has it there's already a bass hanging out near second base.
