From May 26–29, Baldwin FFA attended the Kansas FFA State Convention in Manhattan. It was a busy four days and a great way to wrap up the year.

Here’s a look at what our members were involved in:

• Lydia Herron performed in the State FFA Chorus for the second year in a row. She sang the National Anthem during two sessions and also performed at their concert and during the 7th session.

• Leah Beason performed with the State FFA Band on flute. She also performed at their concert and during the 7th session.

• Boston Walters and Kelsey Reynolds represented Baldwin FFA as chapter delegates. They served on committees, voted on business for our chapter, and helped with the election process for the new state officer team.

• Addison Allen was recognized during the 5th session as a recipient of a National FFA Scholarship.

• Our chapter scrapbook, created by Leah Beason, earned a Silver Division award.

Baldwin FFA was also recognized in two chapter award areas:
• National Chapter Award – Silver Division
• Innovative Ideas in Growing Leaders

We’re proud of all of our members and the way they represented Baldwin FFA this week. It was a great convention, and now we can officially kick off summer… at least until Officer Retreat next month!☀️💙💛
