Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a free painting workshop for adults at the Balch Springs Library! This workshop will take place this Monday, September 21 at 5:30 PM in the library. Tweens, join us at the library on Thursday, September 24th at 4:30 PM for this interactive program where you’ll have the chance to make new friends while creating a sweet treat to enjoy! This program is for tweens in grades 4-7. Participation is limited, while supplies last.

Calling all romance readers! The Balch Springs Library has just the book club for you. Join us this Saturday, September 19th for this inaugural meeting where we will talk all things romance, play games, and determine the first title to be read in our Romance Book Club. A limited number of copies of the selected title will then be provided for those in attendance. This program is for adults 18+ and future meeting locations are to be determined.

Calling all tweens and teens! Join us this September at the Balch Springs Library for Tween and Teen Time. Teen Time will take place every first and third Tuesday at 4:30 PM and is open to teens in grades 8-12. Tween Time will take place every second and fourth Thursday at 4:30 PM and is open to tweens in grades 4-7. These programs will give tweens and teens the opportunity to socialize, learn new skills, be creative, and have fun!

Join us every Wednesday this September for Youth180's Strengthening Families Program! This program helps build communication skills, coping skills, and lasting family bonds through fun, interactive activities.
