Our Adoption Process

Thank you for your interest in our Ragdoll kittens. We are a small, in-home cattery focused on health, temperament, and lifelong matches. Our goal is to place each kitten with a family where they will be cherished as a companion for life.

Step 1: Inquiry
Please complete our short adoption application. This helps us learn about your home, lifestyle, and what you're looking for in a Ragdoll companion. We personally review every application.

Step 2: Meet & Greet
If we feel we may have a good match, we'll schedule a phone or video call. This is a chance for you to ask questions, meet us, and see the kittens and parents live. We do not place kittens without speaking to you first.

Step 3: Reservation
Once a match is confirmed, we will email your adoption agreement and invoice. A non-refundable reservation fee of 25% of the total adoption fee is due to reserve your kitten. This fee secures the kitten for your family and contributes to veterinary care, socialization, and supplies.

Signing the agreement and submitting the reservation fee officially reserves your kitten. We provide a formal receipt for all payments.

Step 4: Updates & Growth
During your wait, you'll receive weekly photo and video updates so you can watch your kitten grow. We encourage questions and enjoy keeping families involved.

Step 5: Go Home Day
Kittens go to their forever homes at 12–14 weeks of age, after they have completed age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, and a vet health check.

On pickup day, the remaining balance of the adoption fee is due. You'll receive your kitten's vet records, TICA registration paperwork, microchip information, a health guarantee, and a kitten care package. We prefer in-person pickup or private flight nanny. We do not ship kittens by cargo.

Important Policies:
Health Guarantee: All kittens come with a 2-year genetic health guarantee and a 72-hour vet check guarantee. Full details are in the adoption agreement.
Spay/Neuter: All pet kittens are placed on a spay/neuter contract and must be altered by 6 months of age.
Indoor Only: Ragdolls are companion cats and must live indoors for their safety.
Lifetime Support: We are here for you and your Ragdoll for life. If you can ever no longer keep your cat, it must be returned to us.

Note: Reservation fees are accepted prior to a live video meeting only at the adopter's request. We strongly encourage all families to complete a video call before submitting any fees. Reservation fees are non-refundable per the signed adoption agreement.

To begin, please complete our Adoption Application.
We do not discuss availability, adoption fees, or place holds via social media comments or DMs prior to a completed application. This protects our kittens and families.

*Johnny’s Current Litter Update*

We’re pleased with the diversity of colors and patterns in Johnny’s newest kittens. His litters are consistently known for their affectionate, people-oriented temperaments from a young age.

*Temperament Notes:*
Ragdolls are often called “companion cats” due to their social nature. In our experience with our lines:
- *Females* tend to form a deep bond with one primary family member and enjoy quiet companionship.
- *Males* are typically outgoing and social with all household members and guests.

Both are affectionate, enjoy being held, and display the relaxed “Ragdoll flop” the breed is known for. They thrive in homes where they receive regular interaction and attention.

*Availability:*
We are currently accepting inquiries for the male kittens from this litter. All kittens are raised in-home, handled daily, and will go to their forever homes after 12 weeks of age with age-appropriate veterinary care, health guarantee, and contract.

Juliette | 6 Weeks Old | Scarlett x Johnny*

Juliette is the only kitten from Scarlett and Johnny’s current pairing. As a singleton, she has been raised alongside Lola’s litter of larger males. Despite the size difference, the socialization has been excellent — the boys are notably gentle with her, and Juliette confidently holds her own within the group.

At 6 weeks old, Juliette is still developing, but we anticipate she will reflect the best qualities of both parents. She has a distinctive, expressive face with large blue eyes that give her a perpetually concerned expression. In reality, she is quite content and relaxed, often leaning into hands for chin and cheek rubs.

*Lineage & Temperament:*
Female kittens from Scarlett’s lines are known for forming strong bonds with their families. They are typically easygoing, observant, and affectionate, with a calm to moderate energy level. They integrate well into households seeking a devoted companion rather than a high-energy playmate.

Scarlett’s previous daughters — from her pairing with Tom Hanks, Johnny’s full brother — are now known for being loyal lap cats. They prefer to stay close to their owners, often sitting beside them during work or quiet time.

Juliette will be ready for her forever home at 12-14 weeks, following her veterinary clearance, first vaccinations, deworming, and microchipping. She is raised in-home and handled daily.
