I’ve had the true honor of working with Emmanuel over the past few weeks through the Self-Determination Program. He is wonderfully neurodiverse, and from day one, he has shown up with an incredible attitude and a genuine love for music. Not to mention, he’s an outstanding percussionist and drummer.

Experiences like this are a powerful reminder that we should never place limits on someone simply because we don’t fully understand them. It’s time we lean into acceptance and lead with love—taking our foot off the gas pedal of division and choosing connection instead.

Get out there and spend time with new people, different cultures, different backgrounds. My life is richer because of it, and yours can be too.
