Project Speed Bump
A place to keep up with the progress on the Truck Trend Network's 1967 Ford F-100 build.
Originally planned as a diesel F-100, we've changed course and will now be using a Ford Performance Parts EcoBoost crate engine.

So guys, we need help with a plate! Since we won’t be using the Diesel engine, our current “USES OIL” plate is out. All forms of Speed Bump are taken in California, as is TYRFRYR and other fun ones. DONUT TRK is too long and so is ECO BEAST. Would love to see your ideas and help us choose a new personalized plate.

We just got back from The SEMA Show where some big decisions were made with Gale Banks in regards to Project Speed Bump’s powertrain. Due to some changes on the supplier side, it looks like we’ll be going in an entirely different direction with Banks Power. Stay tuned...

Well the smog parts are off! And notice the Banks Power cast intake manifold... oh, and that Maserati turbo is a nice touch too. 😀

A major milestone was reached today. We finished up the chassis wiring and we got the fuel tank and flush-mount fuel filler installed. Now the truck is ready to head off to Banks Power later this week to add some fire to the cylinders!

Hopefully we are drilling this in the right place!!! ⛽️
