An ancient warrior. A forgotten castle. Strange symbols. And a mech standing in the ruins of a city.

Every page raised more questions.

But when Bella turned to the next page…

Nothing.

It was completely blank.

Daniel closed the sketchbook and placed it on his dresser.

Just like it had sat in that little shop in Japan.

Waiting. 📖👀

But waiting for what?

An ancient sketchbook.

Warriors from another time. Strange symbols. Forgotten places. Machines that shouldn’t exist.

Bella couldn’t stop turning the pages. 📖

But one drawing had already caught her father’s attention.

A futuristic mech.

Something that looked remarkably similar to the technology Daniel had been working on in Japan.

How could an ancient book contain something that hadn’t even been invented yet?

And what else was hiding inside its pages? 👀

The mystery is only beginning.

The sketchbook had finally made its way from a mysterious street stall in Japan to Bella’s home.

But Daniel had already looked inside.

One drawing had stopped him in his tracks.

It looked strangely familiar. Too familiar.

Something about it reminded him of the technology he’d encountered during his engineering trip.

Now Bella wanted to see what her dad had brought home.

But for the first time, Daniel wasn’t so sure he should let her.

What did he see inside that book? 👀📖

Every kid knows the most important question when Dad gets home from a trip…
“What did you bring me?” 😂
Bella got a little souvenir from Japan, a few laughs with Dad, and another reminder that his “engineering stuff” is definitely robot stuff. 🤖
But while unpacking, Daniel reaches into the bottom of his suitcase…
And suddenly remembers something.
Something he brought all the way from Japan.
Something he almost forgot. 👀

After twelve days in Japan, Daniel is finally home.
Bella has approximately a thousand questions.
Did he see robots? 🤖
Ninjas? 🥷
Anything cool?
Daniel says no.
Bella isn’t convinced. 😂
But there’s one question she hasn’t asked yet…
And the answer is sitting inside Dad’s suitcase. 👀

The NGRG Multiverse just got a little bigger.

Meet Daniel — engineer, husband, father, athlete, and 15-year Jiu Jitsu practitioner.

Daniel’s game is built on pressure, control, and pinning. He doesn’t chase chaos. He creates structure, removes options, and waits for the opening.

And when it appears?

Leg triangle.

His approach to Jiu Jitsu mirrors the way he sees the world: understand the system, control the variables, and solve the problem.

But Daniel is more than a skilled grappler.

He’s Bella’s father.

And the strange sketchbook he brought home may connect him to something far bigger than he ever intended.

The vendor knew her name.

That was the first thing that felt wrong.

Bella’s father had never mentioned her.

Then the old man placed his hand on the sketchbook.

“This was never meant for you.”

He paused.

“It was meant for her.”

For the first time, the book no longer felt like something he had found.

It felt like something that had been waiting.

And before he left, the vendor gave him one final word:

Guardian.
