2026-2027 course requests are available to view on your Skyward Parent Portal. Please see the directions below to access these and the Google Form link to approve. All course requests need to be approved by May 1, 2026 to ensure your child's schedule is ready for pickup in August. If you have any questions please reach out to your child's alpha counselor.

Reminder: Just for Juniors (current 11th graders) parent night is tomorrow, February 18th at 6pm.

AHS SENIOR PARENTS, join the C.O.O.L. Program this Thursday, 2/5 for Parent FAFSA Night!

AHS Senior Parents, don't forget tomorrow is our Fall FAFSA Parent Night. Meet with the COOL Program and TCC in the AHS cafeteria to learn about FAFSA, get help filing your FAFSA, and have your questions answered. FAFSA night is from 5:30-7 PM.

Further west we go! 🤠 The C.O.O.L. Program continued our West Texas college tours with a stop at Texas Tech University today — soaking up all that Red Raider spirit! ❤️🖤

The C.O.O.L. Program hit the road this week with our juniors and seniors to tour Abilene Christian University and Hardin-Simmons University on Wednesday. A huge thank you to HSU President Bruntmyer for the warm welcome and inspiring visit. Our Hornets loved exploring both campuses and dreaming big about their college futures.

It’s the final day of Apply Texas Free Application Week! Make sure to submit all of your applications to public junior colleges, trade schools, and universities today!

Free College Application Week is almost here! From October 13–19, 2025, Texas residents can apply to any Texas public college or university for undergraduate admission without paying an application fee through ApplyTexas.org.

During this week, seniors are encouraged to stop by and see Dr. Roberts in the C.O.O.L. Office (F0) for assistance with completing and submitting their Apply Texas applications. This is a great opportunity to save on college application fees.
