Grabbed the 1 decent external video from last weekend's event along with the lap data. Pretty sweet tool for seeing where I vary lap to lap.
The highest highs to the lowest lows...all in a matter of seconds. Racing is a wild (expensive) way to feel all your emotions.
Cant wait to do it again!

Forgot I grabbed a couple external run clips last time out. Not my fastest run, but a cool view down the driver's side with the exhaust growling just in front of the mic.
Most recent event. Tough course for a full size truck. The smaller cars definitely thrived. Held down the fastest truck, but there's some work to be done if I want to keep up with the fastest CAM cars.

Forgot my camera bag again. Luckily was there to catch a run. Sitting 3rd at the end of day 1. Let's see if I can beat that on day 2. knows how to put on a show!
Representing the and for the truck class last event of the year. The course is massive allowing this setup to show it's advantages. Plus the local F35 squad is putting on a show above.

Sometimes, I'm an idiot. 2 reasons this time: 1, I decided the weekend before an upcoming race to modify the dash of the racetruck. 2, when I was struggling to make it fit back in and couldn't get it done with the usual tools, I resorted to the carbide burr. Sure it worked, but I didn't even consider the absolute MESS I was making. 35 minutes of vacuuming and I still need to vacuum again. Don't be like me. 🤦♂️🤷♂️🤣

Finally had time to wrap up the CnP wiring for the LS coils on my 408 SBF with the Dominator. Never thought I would enjoy wiring so much, but I do. You can see my smartwire pin chart. I just need to make a couple tweaks in that system and its ready for to send a tune so we can fire back up. 2 weeks to the first race of the fall season. CANT WAIT!

Some progress on the wiring for the LS coils. Its not really hard to do nice wiring work. It seems scarier than it is. A little patience goes a LONG way. And no, not an ounce of solder in sight. Learning to do proper crimps has been a game changer over the years. 7yrs since I moved to only crimping and not a single failure yet! *knocks on wood*

I never post about my other company, which is the main way I afford to do builds and events, since this page is for the automotive fab work that I dream about all day. But I just got my first set of wrapped in wildpeak 35s and I had to share. Super impressed with this combo. This beast is my first new vehicle ever and gets worked hard all week before it tows the race cars on the weekend. Couldn't be happier!

Been prepping the for the fall racing season. One upgrade thats been on my list for close to 2yrs is coil near plug since I run Dominator. Also started working with to design a new cam with supporting parts to get even more out of the 408. Too bad it has to all be hidden under the new sexy billet valve covers.
