How much protein do I need?
This is a question we get a lot over here. The answer, however, varies depending on what your goals are and what your weight is.
After a workout, it is recommended that you consume 20 to 30 grams of protein. Whey is a fast acting protein, so it is optimal for post-workout.
Soy protein is an excellent alternative for those who are lactose sensitive or intolerant as well as for vegetarians. Soy is also a fast acting protein, however it less effective in protein synthesis (the process where ingested protein is converted into protein that your body can use).
Your minimum daily intake of protein for maintaining your current muscle mass should be your body weight multiplied by .54
To find your minimum daily intake to increase your muscle mass, multiply your body weight by .74

A tip to help you keep your bananas fresher longer!
Coat the ends (where the bananas are attached together) with paraffin wax. If you don't have paraffin wax (you can get it at grocery stores that sell canning jars) then seran wrap will also work!
It slows down the oxidization process that causes your banana to get brown spots.
