🏈UPDATED 2025 OHIO HS FOOTBALL PLAYOFF FORMAT🏈
- Top 12 teams in each region qualify for playoffs (reduced from 16 teams qualifying since '21)
- Top 4 teams in each region earn a first-round bye
- Higher seeded team will host first three rounds of postseason (neutral site games begin in regional finals)
- Teams are not reseeded after each round (No. 1 hosts 8/9 winner, No. 2 hosts 7/10 winner, No. 3 hosts 6/11 winner, No. 4 hosts 5/12 winner)
