Just saved this Audi 3.0T before it did more damage than broken guides and jumped timing. Full timing chain kit, PCV valve, camshaft girdle reseal and some well overdue maintenance items. It seems like every higher mileage 3.0T we take apart has the timing guides broken off. .0t

We installed a billet aluminum coolant reservoir relocation kit to eliminate a common weak point on these engines.

The factory plastic tank sits over the turbochargers and tends to get heat-soaked, leading to coolant leaks. This can cause coolant to drip onto critical ignition and injection harnesses and components leading to misfires and other issues.

Shoutout to who killed it with a custom made billet tank relocated to a cooler, safer spot — protecting the new harnesses and keeping the system performing at its best. This is one of the nicest kits on the market by far for the f90 cars. &reliability

🔧 BMW N20 in for major surgery! This engine came in with a clogged oil pickup tube full of plastic from the timing chain guides. The chain chewed through all the guides and left the motor starving for oil. Luckily, we caught it before complete failure and got everything rebuilt with fresh OEM parts. 💪
