Join our wonderful A*O musicians tomorrow for Tuneful Tales at Austin Public Library central at 10:00 a.m. (English) and 10:30 a.m. (Spanish) where we will be reading Dim Sum Palace. 🥟

Dim Sum Palace is about a little girl named Liddy who is too excited to sleep before a family dim sum outing. When a yummy smell wafts into her room, she is transported to a magical dream-like palace kitchen.

Thank you to everyone who made this season’s Hartman Concerts in the Park a success! And a special thank you to our very young “guest conductor” who led a great rendition of Happy Birthday… Did anyone let him know we might have an opening soon?

We will see you all next year!

06/14/2026

The show must go on! Our final Hartman Concerts in the Park is still happening tonight!

If needed, music will be moved inside the lobby of the Long Center. Hope to see you all there (and bring an umbrella…just in case.)

Tuneful Tales at H-E-B!

Thank you to everyone who came out to see our brass quintet play along with the book, Edwina, the Dinosaur Who Didn’t Know She Was Extinct (by Mo Willems), hosted by Texas favorite H-E-B. After the story, we danced and learned rhythms through our wonderful Orff instructor. A special thank you to H-E-B for all of their support, We are so excited to bring more Tuneful Tales to Austin this summer!

Brass, Bravado & Beyond the Sea: It was a cloudy yet cozy evening at the Long Center where our Brass Quintet played selections by W.A. Mozart, John Williams, and even a bit of Neil Diamond (“buh, buh, buh”). So good!

Thank you for being a wonderful crowd, and a special shoutout to Lisa and Gracie Lou for attending …these concerts are dog-friendly after all.

Please join us next week, Sunday, June 14th, for our final Hartman Concerts in the Park of the season. We will see you there!
