We all wanna be in our kids memories one day, and that starts right now. We have to show up in their lives today even when our “Kids lives are boring...”

Of course we love our kids to death, but we also relate to “all the little things they go through everyday that seem small to us” BUT are so huge for them.

As we’ve grown as parents, and changed our perspective, our kids have been a great reminder of the awe and wonder we all once had for life.

And It’s still there if we will just look for it

I don’t care if my daughter gets straight A’s when she’s older.
I care about whether she can think for herself, whether she can bounce back from failure, and build confidence in who she is outside of someone else’s grading system.

You care way too much about your kid’s report card

I take my kids everywhere with me—on road trips, to the store, to restaurants, on errands, to new towns, to explore trails and little spots we find along the way. ✨ Because this is what childhood is: experiencing life with them, not just around them.

When you bring your kids into the real world instead of keeping them separate from it, they learn life skills, social confidence, patience, emotional regulation, and that they belong. They learn to watch, listen, participate, and be. 🌿

It’s not always easy. There are meltdowns, spills, and moments you wish you stayed home. But every “hard” moment is an opportunity: connection perfection every time. And what a gift to show our kids that the world is safe, that they are welcome, and that life is to be lived together.

So yes, we’ll be the ones with three little shadows at the store, the park, the restaurant booth, the library, and on every adventure big and small. Because this is their life, too. And I want them to feel that in every moment. 🤍
