Disc golf lover

I have a funny story. Today at work randomly I think to myself... I didn't pick up my blue beast last night on hole two did I? So of course I got out to my truck and surely it is not in the bag. So naturally I tell my coworker I gotta go run an errand real quick I will BRB. Course is real close to where I work. So I get there and start looking around for my blue disc. Then I remembered I do not own that blue beast with a gold stamp anymore, I gave it to a friend who is just getting into DG. I own a pink beast,duh. Lemme go check that bag again, and of course it's in there. So now that it's in my hand and joy is in the air, I do a quick safari hole from my truck to the farthest basket I see, for science am I right? The basket is about 400 from my truck and I absolutely smash it but hit a tree about 50 from the basket. Well instead of finishing the hole, I decide to just toss it back to the truck and get back to work. I did a baby flex shot towards my truck because I didnt wanna hit it. I put a little too much gas on it and immediately out of the hands I am thinking I am gonna smoke the driver side of my bed. Nope, landed that sucker straight in it. I am counting it as an ace. Just kidding but it was cool. 😅😅😅

Who else hunts for chantrells or other edible mushrooms while they play?

If anyone with a PDGA # over 4K wonders what it was like playing in the last millennium, maybe 30 years ago , here's what we carried (and some carried too many of these three). The two biggest differences were shorter courses and everything was understandable.

As I get older and slower and have more and more hand issues I’ve been changing my bag this year with my driver sweet spot being 7-8 speed. One slot I’m just not filling is a 7-8 over stable mold. Have a few gift cards and some great used sections near me so taking suggestions….and go.

My son put one of my oldest discs into a tree and it didn’t survive. This disc gave me and all three of my sons plenty of company on the course for 30 years. RIP.
