Breathtaking pair of Paintings by Lucio P Lorenzo. One depicts The Nativity and the other The Garden of Eden. The vibrancy of the color palette used by this very talented artist is a glory in and of itself. The figures, the animals the heavens opening up to the Earth. It’s all just too much. Both are equally spectacular and HUGE! Did I mention that part? They are over 3ft square! What a pair they would be hung together side by side. They are truly something to behold and with a couple of new frames they would certainly set the scene in any home. Come on down to the shop and take a look. It’ll be worth the trip just to see them.

World AIDS Day is a time to celebrate and remember the lives that have been taken from us. Come and share the names and stories of your loved ones.

What a wonderfully fab pair of Midcentury furniture pieces. Made by Olive & Myers, Dallas these two have stood the test of time and still have more time left to serve. With solid wood construction and plenty of room for storage they are as cute as they are practical. From the ribbed wood front drawers to the little angled legs with the carved detailing to the angle-cut side leg on the desk these pieces really do ooze vintage midcentury style and form. They are both structurally sound and strong but do show some superficial wear from use. I think they are perfect just the way they are, but the finish could be touched up a little here and there or they could go super fun and kitch with some brightly colored paint. The possibilities are only as endless as your imagination. 🎨💭

YOU have blown our fundraising goals right out of the water!!! And that means something very big. Something that we thought we would never be able to do! (Keep reading for that surprise)

THANK YOU to every single person that helped us and Laree paint the amazing work of art that is our mural. Having all of you and your energy around these past weeks was an absolute joy. YOU painted so much love on these walls that I feel like the colors are even brighter now than when we poured the paint from the cans. It was our community writing a love story to Top Drawer with every stroke of a brush. ❤️

THANK YOU to every single person that donated funds to Paint it Pink! YOU have astounded us with your generosity and awesomeness. YOU more than doubled our goal!! Not only did the money cover the multiple extra and unforeseen trips to the paint store, but it will also give us a chance to do something that we thought we would never be able to do…

For those of you that are new to TD. We are an Old Austin Nonprofit Thrift Shop run by a team of employees and volunteers with all merchandise being donated from our community. We opened our doors in 1993 with 100% of funds raised going to Project Transitions for hospice care and subsidized housing for people with HIV right here in Austin.

Artist Carved and Painted Bookcase Shelf by Dennis Lee Harper

This is a true one of a kind piece of art furniture. Built, hand painted and carved solid wood bookcase by Dennis Lee Harper. Remember the giant waffle we posted last December? Same Artist! Donated by the artist himself. What a great guy.

We are completely head over heels for this one. The colors are fantastic. It is just the right size. Not too big so that it takes up a whole room, but big enough to make quite a Pop Art statement with plenty of shelf space to show off all the cool Top Drawer Treasures that you gotten from us in the past.

Excellent condition. Built and carved from solid wood. The shelves are adjustable with pegs.

Overall: 67 1/4”H x 24”W x 13 1/4”D

*And because I know that you’ll ask and I’m a nice guy…. Yes, that wicker screen is for sale as well. It is fantastic and perfect.
