your Pride plans just got better 🏳️‍🌈✂️

We’re bringing a zine workshop to the Pride Market — facilitated by Austin native and artist Arlo Kretzler (). Arlo’s work is meditative, a little chaotic, and completely her own. Her workshop will be the same energy: come as you are, leave with something made by you.

Pride is a celebration. It’s also a practice. ✊🌈

This year at ART IN ATX: Pride Market, we’re inviting you to get your hands into it — literally. Artist Oie Slate () is leading a Weaving with Recycled Materials activity table, and trust us, you don’t want to miss it.

Oie is a sculptor and fiber artist rooted in textiles, natural dyeing, and craft that pushes form into three dimensions. They design their own looms. They’ve shown internationally. And they’re here, in Austin, ready to make with YOU.

This is what community looks like. 🧵

Minimum $10 donation to participate • Grab your slot via Partiful — link in bio 🔗

Austin, do you know a DJ? 🎶

We’re building our roster of DJs for future ART IN ATX markets — and we’re starting with our most pressing need: we’re looking for someone to spin at ART IN ATX: Pride Market on June 27th at Central Machine Works.

If you know a DJ who loves Austin’s creative community and wants to be part of something special — drop their handle in the comments. 👇

(DJs — feel free to tag yourself too. We see you.)
