We weathered the storm and now the sun is shining and we are back at it like nothing ever happened! 👊🏼 // It is true for some of us Texans, but not for all! // How can I be of your assistance this week?

For any of my clients that are worried about pipes bursting, don't turn the water off in front of your home unless you suspect actual leaks.
1. Know your deductible.

2. Get an estimate from a restoration company on the amount of damage (if its less than the deductible, there’s no point in filing a claim.)

3. Call your insurance carrier and start a claim. You will be connected with an insurance adjuster from your company (State Farm, USAA, Progressive, Allstate, etc.)

4. If you are a client of GOOSEHEAD or me, you can call us for advice before filing a claim but the hold times may be longer than normal. Our number is 1-800-474-1377! or me 512-676-2521.

NOTE: Almost all policies cover for sudden and accidental pipe bursts. If you have a leak that's been there for more than 14 days you would need seepage and leakage coverage to be covered.
