We've just celebrated the 30th anniversary of Prof. Csikszentmihalyi's Flow book becoming popular, and now it's time to mention another of his great work: Good Business, published in 2003.
Good business can be a broad concept; everyone can mean it differently. For some, it equals endless happy hours and celebrations at work. For others, it would be about making money 24/7 until the profit skyrockets. Some would focus their attention on volunteering at a non-profit organization saving the planet by cleaning the rivers and tying themselves to trees in forests.
As Prof. Csikszentmihalyi interviewed owners and CEOs of prestigious companies, he found that good business is a harmonious balance of the planet, people, and profit.
His book, Good Business, is about the concept we implemented in our Simulation, FLIGBY (Flow Is Good Business for You).

Position Summary: We are looking for a Sales Representative to join the Sales department on our Ko team to work directly with the CEO and sales department in developing new prospects, reaching out to existing customers, and following through with an entire sales cycle. We are seeking an extroverted, performance-driven, collaborative, and authentic individual who has knowledge of sales and negotiations processes and understands how to cultivate and convert sales. Previous sales experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a knowledge of Ko trainings, sales systems, and procedures
- Present, promote, and sell our trainings to existing and prospective customers through cold calling, internet platforms, and email campaigns
- Leverage LinkedIn for analyzing relevant companies to be targeted
- Leverage LinkedIn for analyzing relevant contacts in an organization
- Leverage different platforms to fetch relevant email addresses
- Maintain all records in CRM(Hubspot)/Databases
- Maintain a timely and accurate call schedule
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Sales or a related field (completed or to be completed)
- 1+ years of proven sales experience, targeting both B2B and B2C audiences
Qualification and Skills:
- Located in Austin, TX
- Comfortable with cold calling
- Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Solid knowledge about sales and negotiation processes
- Strong analytical skills
- Highly collaborative
- Ability to work independently and thrive
- Extremely detail-oriented and organized
