Today, news broke of a settlement between Texas Children's Hospital in Houston and the attorney general's office that compels Texas Children's to create a so-called "detransition clinic" in addition to paying $10 million to the state.

This decision betrays trans and nonbinary Texans, their families, and the medical professionals who have spent years providing evidence-based care that saves lives.
