I don't know if anyone actually reads articles anymore here but this one is important for everyone. Fast Fashion or really fashion in general is one of the biggest components of the earth's waste. Most of the clothing we wear cannot be recycled.
In fact, in 2015 alone, the world threw away more than $450 billion worth of clothes. On top of that, it takes at least 20,000 liters of water to produce one kilo of cotton. Not to mention the workers who are in are paid cents per hour to make them.
As a lover of fashion and style, 95% of my clothing is recycled. Now, I realize that a majority of folks don't have the time or desire to dig through thrift or vintage stores, but there are many, many other ways to reduce clothing waste. Just scroll through this article, so many amazing options!
