Alongside the mix, I have included links to help out protesters and the movement, please support the cause and get involved however you can.

With everything going on, we've been keeping our spirits up with this mantra at my studio. When the world, our nation, our city, then our business were directly affected by the health and economic crisis of COVID-19, “We will s̶u̶r̶v̶i̶v̶e̶ thrive.” was the message we shared here at Studio Dzo. It served as a reminder that while others were communicating survival, we were remaining optimistic that we, along with our city, will do more. We will thrive. With the help of our friends at Fine Southern Gentlemen, we are asking Austinites to spread this message of optimism and solidarity. Stand with us and show your support with a shirt. Proceeds go to local businesses so they can continue to financially support their staff. Let’s keep the spirit alive and ensure that Austin will s̶u̶r̶v̶i̶v̶e̶ thrive.

Some detail shots of my poster! This year's theme was to design for Democracy, with mine focusing on the participation aspect of our democratic system. This was the explanation I included with the poster.
"As citizens, we have a responsibility to use our collective voices to participate in our democracy, as we have no choice but to be affected by the results."
This is the main concept behind the poster, with the text weaving between four Athens inspired columns. These represent four tenants that our country is built upon, liberty, justice, democracy, and recently, money. With the democracy column starting to crack under the pressure of that last tenant. Above the columns is a very fitting flower called a Candytuft, which is used to represent indifference.
Getting into Afterhours has been a goal of mine for quite awhile now, and to finally have the honor to participate makes me feel so dang proud.
