Well hello there Facebook friend. Wow has it been a long time since I’ve written to you.

Years ago I used to write a lot on Facebook. Back in the good old days when it still felt like a group hang session. But in the years that followed I stepped away from writing my thoughts online. The world got noisy. Who would want to hear thoughts anyway, I reasoned.

Couple that with the fact that I got locked out of my Facebook account (well actually I locked myself out), and that makes for a long period of silence on Facebook.

Of course, you’ve seen my pictures and reels. But I stopped writing. And to be honest, I’ve no clue why (other than, you know, locking myself out).

But, today is a new day. It is a new era. The author has returned. The password, reset. The email confirmation link, clicked.

It’s good to be back.
