About Guest Speakers: Francois LaRosa, Christian D. Nelson and Kerry Ann Zamore-Byrd.

Francois Larosa (https://www.imdb.com/name/nm3817163/) formed Starfield Productions in 2008 in Austin Texas, and soon started shooting/writing for local Austin Business Commercials developing Podcast Projects for their Websites. In March 2011, his collaboration Film "Brotherhood" was shown during SXSW 2011. He then developed the Sci-Fi TV Pilot Series-6 Episodes called,"El Otro Lado" The Other Side) via the TV Cable Network for CBS /Telemuendo, Writing, Directing, Producing (Facebook/El Otro Lado). With over 20 years in the film industry Francois has worked with the best of the best, has been involved in Public Speaking of Films in Austin, Miami, Peru, and soon in Colombia, is an Award Winning Filmmaker, Screenplay Writer and Producer, and has has numerous credits to his name.

Christian D. Nelson (https://www.imdb.com/name/nm4745319/) is a critically-acclaimed director, producer, video editor and composer based in Austin, Texas. After establishing Reel Retro Productions in 2008, he has directed and produced numerous award-winning short films that have been selections of such festivals as the Cannes International Film Festival, Oaxaca International Film Festival and the Austin Spotlight Film Festival. In 2016, Christian started composing music under the name "Khris Paradise". His works include cinematic compositions for film, as well as LoFi Hip-Hop and jazz-inspired House music. He has won accolades and great reviews for his soundtrack work on the short films "The Nightmare" (2017), "Muerte" (2018) and the feature film "Hollow Scream" (2020). Christian's body of work is focused on the creation and formation of original, imaginative ideas and artistic expressions. SPEAKING TONIGHT for Network Austin Mixer at 7 PM Central! Actor BILLY SLAUGHTER, based in Louisiana, talks about how he and his team were able to build his career, even while living outside of New York and Los Angeles.

He's been in over 100 films and TV series, including: "The Magnificent 7", "Mindhunter", "The Campaign", "The Big Short, and Marvel’s "Cloak & Dagger" and has starred in films such as "Laundry Day" and "Christmas Cars".

Slaughter was brought to L.A. by Dustin Hoffman and has worked with numerous other industry icons from Clint Eastwood, Denzel Washington, Anthony Hopkins, and Robert DeNiro to Tom Cruise, Will Ferrell, Will Smith, and Mark Wahlberg.

Faith Hibbs-Clark can detect when people are lying. Since actors get paid to lie for a living, Faith, a deception detection expert, has made a career of teaching these performers how to be more believable on stage or camera. Faith uses a unique and proven scientific method to help her students. She has fascinating insight into human nature and her work can apply to the everyday aspects of communication, and she will share her techniques on how to know when someone isn’t being honest.

The Communication Method for Actors (CMFA), "acting science," is a unique acting method created by Faith Hibbs-Clark, casting director of 20+ years and former deception detection body language expert. The CMFA method utilizes the science of psychology and the art of communication to help actors create science-based formulas to empower their performances and reach their optimum outcomes to book more roles, standout to directors on set, and receive more recognition in their careers. It is an outside-in approach that focuses more on how the actor is perceived than how the actor feels. Unlike other acting methods, this method is less concerned with deep character immersion and back story, which might not translate on screen, but rather on how the actor is perceived. Therefore, actors are encouraged to encode and reverse engineer their performances with body language and other neuroscience brain hacks that will help to evoke feelings in the mind of the receiver.

Faith considers herself a digital nomad, able to teach virtually from anywhere. She divides her time between France, New Mexico and everywhere in between, working with new and past clients, like Academy Award winner Emma Stone was one of Faith's former clients.
