Decided to experiment a bit while we have no power. I’ve been watching videos of ice skaters on frozen lakes lately and this reminded me of them when they record the frozen lake, usually in Canada, they are skating on. This is the windshield of my SUV I took while sitting in my car charging my phone. It could also be an abstract painting. Either way, the color and light are so pretty.

I saw Lucius live again at Emo’s last night. Second time I’ve seen them this year; second time I’ve seen them at Emo’s (last was 2016). As always, their melodic syncs and vocal capabilities were outstanding!

A view of Austin I don’t normally see, from Ladybird Lake (Town Lake). The Austin city skyline seems to change so regularly now; cranes everywhere to the right of this view; reminds me of London in that sense! But in Austin fashion, in the left of the photo, you can see the people standing on Congress Street Bridge to see the bats.

I was out on a boat on Town (Ladybird) Lake tonight for a sweet friend’s birthday and got a couple good shots. Austin’s skyline has changed so much! Love seeing all the people lining up on the bridge to see the bats. 🦇 🌅
