The Livestrong Guidebook is a companion for cancer survivors as they navigate the physical, emotional, and practical concerns they may have during their cancer journey. “It was virtually a lifesaver for me and my family as we struggled through both the dark days and the hopeful times,” said lymphoma survivor Pamela.

Our ongoing conversations with cancer survivors told us that a top concern after treatment is the difficulty of returning to physical activity. In 2007, we partnered with The Y to create Livestrong at the YMCA, a 12-week physical activity program designed to get survivors back on their feet at low or no cost. 🏃‍♀️ Since then, more than 79,000 participants have regained their strength in 809 locations in 42 states. 💪 Find a Livestrong at the YMCA program near you at lvstr.ng/ymca.

On the final stop of our 2022 Banded Together Tour, the TCS New York City Marathon, 12 runners (including 2 cancer survivors) showed what it means to LIVESTRONG! 🏃 Making every mile matter, their race through New York City’s five boroughs raised over $40,000 to support loved ones affected by cancer today. 🏅
