Hoy llueve sobre el Río Santa Catarina, y la lluvia deja ver algo que el Gobierno del Estado insiste en ignorar: el río está vivo.

🌧️ Su fuerza es la misma que la de nuestra comunidad, que ha sostenido su defensa desde el amor, la indignación y la certeza de que este ecosistema no es un terreno baldío.

Así como el río reverdece y resiste con cada lluvia, también nuestra lucha sigue en pie: necia, colectiva y más fuerte que el concreto. ⁣

Before January ends, this happened last Sunday in Los Angeles.

I’m incredibly happy to have organized this pop-up event with artists from Monterrey. These past few days have been amazing, especially after overcoming my fear of doing something new in another country.

I was a little nervous about the current situation in the US, and traveling with other artists’ work felt like a huge responsibility. The stress even manifested in some nightmares before the trip.

But in the end, the warmth and kindness of the people at The Pop Hop, and of the friends who stopped by to say hi, made it all worthwhile.
