December 16, 2012. The world was shocked by what went on to be known as the "2012 Delhi Gang R**e & Murder" of Jyoti Singh. This was something very close to our hearts and one of the first events that lead to the creation of KUROS.

Eight years to the day & every woman in the small village where Jyoti Singh was from now has a can of KUROS pepper spray.

While self-defensive tools aren't the solution to Gender-Based Violence, our hope at KUROS is that we can stop one more attack from happening, one woman at a time. With one of our Indian partners Red Brigade.

• November 25th. The International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

• A day that shouldn’t have to exist, but it does. A day that where we look back at all that we have done, and how far we have to go. At we believe that every day should be a day of eliminating violence against women. Our mission has reminded the same since day one, to give to those in need of protection, by providing free pepper spray to at-risk groups around the globe.

• The fight against gender based violence is a team effort. One that we are proud to be a part of, but also one that wouldn’t be anywhere without the great groups on the ground in each country we work in.
