Alicia’s Marathon Kids club recently organized a popcorn fundraiser and raised more than $1,000 to help more kids get moving nationwide.

This is the power of a passionate coach and an engaged school community. 💙

In Alicia’s words:

“Marathon Kids has inspired and encouraged our students to become more active, confident, and motivated while creating opportunities that many of our students may not have experienced otherwise.”

She also shared that students were voluntarily running laps before state testing to calm nerves and improve focus. That’s the kind of lifelong impact movement can create.

For 30 years, Marathon Kids has worked to build confidence, healthy habits, and joy through movement as the nation’s largest youth running nonprofit, and stories like this remind us why the mission matters so much.
