We have exciting news for you. We are updating our ShopWP plug-in. This is going to resolve common syncing issues and repair a few other features as well.

If it looks like your shop is not connecting correctly - don’t worry! All you need to do is reconnect your shopify store to ShopWP.

I HATE letting other people run my calendar!

Almost every business guru out there will tell you that your first hire will need to be someone to take care of your admin tasks, like booking appointments.

Many years ago, I was given this advice too. But I HATED opening my Google calendar finding all of these appointments that were made for me...it felt like showing up to an actual job vs my own business.

And while I have an awesome assistant (that I adore!!!), for me, my best step in scaling my business was hiring a developer to take coding tasks off my plate. That’s what was ACTUALLY sucking my time, not making appointments!

Thanks to codeless platforms (like Weeknight!) I no longer need quite as much help with dev, but the rule still rings true.

Figure out what’s ACTUALLY sucking your time and offload those tasks. Maybe it actually is admin, but use a timer app like and get real about where your time is actually going!

We know for our designer friends, November can be such a big push to finish all the things before the holidays. Here’s some ways to sneak in some self-care this season...

FREE:
♥︎ Go for a 20-min walk
♥︎ Take a bubble bath before bed
♥︎ Push ONE non-urgent deadline to after the holidays
♥︎ Take 5 minutes every morning and journal around, “What do I need today?”. Make sure you’re connected to your needs during this busy time.

CHEAP
♥︎ Set up an early morning coffee date with a friend. It’s hard to feel guilty about or cancel anything early in the day.
♥︎ Sign up for a one-time workout class.
♥︎ If you love movies, try this: set a timer and finish a specific task or project. If you finish in time, reward yourself with a late night movie!

SPLURGE
♥︎ Go for a mid-day, mid-week massage. Rates tend to be cheaper then and no one will freak out if you’re out for ONE hour!
♥︎ Schedule a non-negotiable dinner or Happy Hour with friends celebrating the end of your crazy work season.
♥︎ Decide on a high-ticket item to treat yourself to at the end of all the projects you have coming up.
