Separate efforts can create activity, but unified efforts create impact. When a coalition submits testimony, registers support or engages legislators as one, it stands out. It simplifies the narrative for decision-makers and amplifies the weight of your position.

As AI evolves and platforms continue to reward speed over substance, media literacy becomes less of an abstract concept and more of a survival skill. Our own Alice Claiborne was featured on CBS News Texas, sharing how she accidentally dismissed a life-threatening flash flood warning after mistaking it for another late-night Amber Alert. Her story highlights a growing issue: “notification fatigue.” With so many alerts, critical warnings can get lost in the noise. Alice is advocating for distinct emergency alert sounds so people know instantly when action is needed — because seconds matter.

Last week, Mach 1 was honored to attend Pink Granite’s Party with a Purpose in recognition of National World Ovarian Cancer Day.
It was a meaningful evening filled with connection, compassion and a shared commitment to raising awareness for ovarian cancer – the 5th leading cause of cancer-related deaths among women in Texas. We’re grateful to have been part of such an important cause and inspiring community.

When it comes to earned media, impact beats impressions every time.
Quantity does not equal effectiveness, and our results aren’t measured by how many headlines we generate, but by how well we reach the right audience. Broad visibility might build awareness, but if it misses your audience, it’s wasted effort. Strategic communications means pairing thoughtful strategy with precise messaging, ensuring every placement counts.
