🌟Meet New Rapoport Scholar Natalie Lizzet Zapata🌟
Natalie is passionate about supporting children and giving back to communities that are often overlooked. Her favorite way to give back is by volunteering with the Austin Child Guidance Center, where she assists at the front desk, conducts outreach research, and is in the process of becoming a Play Leader to engage directly with the children.
A sophomore from Brownsville, Texas, Natalie is pursuing a B.A. in Psychology. On campus, she is involved with RGV Familia and Kappa Delta. She plans to attend graduate school and ultimately become a Child Psychologist, working with disadvantaged communities to make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Emily is passionate about service, leadership, and making a tangible impact in her community. Most recently, Emily volunteered at Casa Posada Esperanza, tutoring children staying there and helping them thrive.
A sophomore from Houston, Texas, Emily is majoring in Government and Economics with a minor in Mexican American and Latino Studies. On campus, she’s involved in Minority Women Pursuing Law, the Ballotpedia Fellowship, Texas Juntos Legal Affairs, and contributes as a writer for Accessing the Law. She plans to attend law school.
