Way late post. This was me just walking in to Q2 stadium for the first Austin FC preseason match vs NYCFC that media is allowed.
In all my years of covering ATXFC. Media has not been allowed in preseason matches. This is a first. Also for a first. Fans were allowed in the stadium. Years before fans where at Verde Hill watching preseason matches. IYKYK.

Backyard bird watching and shooting the birds turned into a plot twist. Cardinals, finches, doves. Business as usual at the feeders my wife keeps stocked. Then… scatter. Everything was calm until it wasn’t. 👀 One quick glance to the side, a fast turn, and I caught this guy before he disappeared. Nature doesn’t send a warning. 📸
