People keep asking me why insurance rates keep going up in Texas so I did a little digging. Since 1950, 4 of the largest 30 storms have occurred in 2016 and totaled over $2.26B in cost to the insurance carriers. Some carriers have had higher increases than others, so if you know anyone who is with the big three (State Farm, Allstate, Farmers), please send them my way so that I can help!
