Your deceased loved ones, guides and angels want to send you signs of their presence and awareness of your life as much as you want them to. It’s fun and welcoming to send someone a message that you are thinking of them. In addition, they also want to bring you joy and beauty when reminding you of their presence (and often, their passing). And, what could bring you more joy than unexpectedly sending you a scent or sight of your favorite flower?

Signs From Our Loved Ones Who Have Passed: Scents

Whiffs of cigarette smoke or perfume or perhaps the smell of lilacs or cooking: the dead seem to be surprisingly able to make us experience familiar scents. As someone who has enjoyed this phenomenon – my first scent communication, long ago, was of my grandmother’s perfume – I have wondered whether the scent is out there in the room. Could others standing nearby smell it, too? I have come to think not. I have come to believe that the dead are able to impress the scent directly on our minds, but whether that is true is anyone’s guess.

Signs From Our Loved Ones Who Have Passed

The dead are more aware of us than we are of them.

We must look at the kinds of signs that come to us from those we love in the period soon after their deaths. Many are natural objects like feathers and stones, or growing things like flowers or insects, and some involve what seems to be the manipulation of the minds of animals and people.

Coins. People start finding coins in the same denomination – pennies mostly – or they find clusters of the same set of coins. The coins sent as signs will sometimes bear a significant date, such as a birth or death year or a wedding year.

After Death Communication: Telepathic Communication

Recurring thoughts, a picture that pops into your mind, a phrase, a feeling. This form of after-death communication is generally more subtle and takes a certain amount of belief and trust. In acknowledging this telepathic communication, our inner skeptic must be quelled to acknowledge the receipt of these types of signs. When we become more adept at recognizing and acknowledging them, entire conversations with our deceased loved ones become possible.

These are those meaningful coincidences that occur, often in groups of occurrences that signal to us that something beyond the ordinary is going on. For example; you have a thought of your deceased Grandma and in the next instant you hear her name spoken over the radio. You then look at the license plate on the car in front of you and see her initials.

This type of afterlife contact can take the form of such things as: birds and other wild animals who behave in a strange or remarkable manner in our presence, objects that remind us of our deceased loved ones, plants that grow or bloom in spectacular ways that we can connect to our deceased loved ones. Many who are grieving the loss of a loved one report having butterflies, dragonflies or other insects follow them or behave in other remarkable ways.

This seems to be a very common form of after-death contact used by our deceased loved ones. A favorite song or one that reminds us of our deceased loved ones will be heard at an opportune moment or under seemingly strange conditions. Often the same song will be heard over and over again.

The first question that I ever asked our dear friend Reverend Turrell when I was still a young child was whether religions were discovered or were they invented by people?

That is a complicated question indeed, the more you think about it.

I can attempt to answer it now, but only after I have made it part of the subject of my college major, and then done even more research.

From the beginning of time, people have experienced After Death Communications, and thank goodness for them!!

Broken hearts and traumatized minds have been completely healed with one powerful after-death communication that says everything the griever would need to find peace. Usually they receive messages such as, “I’m happy now”, “I love you”, “I’m pain-free”, “Please forgive me”, “I’m always with you”, “We will be together again”, “You will be fine”, “It’s only goodbye for now” and “It’s time to move on, everything will be alright.”

It seems obvious from the deceased loved one’s greater perspective, that there really is no separation between them and us, but from our limited perspective, the separation is ALL we experience and the emotions felt can be brutally painful.

You’ll be delighted to know they do miss us, but not in the way you might think.

They do miss doing the old things we did together with them when they were in Earth School. But they know in the blink of an eye we’ll be together with them and will have many more wonderful experiences with them. They visit us and are only a thought away. When we think of them, they come to us from wherever they are in the afterlife.

So they don’t miss seeing us. They can do that anytime. What they miss is being with us doing the things we did with them when they were in the Earth body. And they are saddened by their inability to get through to us. They miss the interaction we could have with them if we just learned how to communicate with them so we receive their communication. Communicate with them often and freely. Both you and they will love the communication and be uplifted by it.
