Samsung Austin Semiconductor (SAS) seeks talented Entry Level Engineers to join our organization thr CORP stands for College Orientation Recruitment Program.
This unique program, started in 1996, is designed to give new engineers an overview of the company’s processes and operations, as well as a base knowledge of semiconductor fabrication and manufacturing principles. New engineers begin employment with a five to seven week comprehensive orientation and technical training program. In addition to dedicated mentors, CORP members work closely together an
d form relationships that endure long after the training is complete. After training is complete, our engineers begin working in one of the following areas: Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Facilities, or Quality. SAS high volume, manufacturing operations runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 365 days a year. Engineers support initiatives targeting increased production capacity, improved process capability, higher product quality, and lower production costs. As an engineer, you will be responsible for new process integrations, yield improvement, process optimization, new equipment installations, troubleshooting, and supporting daily operations in a clean room environment. Also as an engineer, you will have an opportunity to innovate through process improvements. Qualifications:
• BS or MS in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, or Computer Science
• GPA Requirement: 3.0 or above
• Graduation Date: December 2012-December 2013
