As an EV driver you support the passage of House bill HB 3418 on Thursday.
It creates a pilot program to assess road use fees based on vehicle miles traveled. This is fairer than a flat fee for EVs.
Most EV drivers drive fewer miles than the average Texan because there aren’t enough chargers yet across Texas to go on road trips.
The state already captures the number of miles traveled each year when they inspect your car.
This pilot would be open to all types of vehicles and no one would pay more under this bill.

URGENT!!! TESLA's new Gen 4 EV charging station......Dude.......it's a wireless charging set-up!

Well, that didn't take long to get the cat out of the bag. I've been saying it for years and asking Tesla via SAY on their earnings calls EVery quarter. You can't have fully autonomous driving w/o some form of autonomous charging and the closest, easiest thing we have to that right now is wireless charging and the technology has incrementally improved over the last decade. The future is here and it is exciting. This is absolutely hands down Tesla's Gen4 Wireless Charging Station......we've talked with their charging team and they can only laugh & applaud us for seeing this so fast, but they cannot state anything regarding it at this time, also, it is no coincidence that Rebecca Tinucci used to be the former CEO and Co-founder of EVatran (Plugless)....it's a small industry, thought you should know, cheers!
