Fortunado performs their adaptation of the traditional American spiritual "Mighty Storm," about the 1900 Galveston Hurricane, which was the deadliest natural disaster in US history. Fortunado: Chris Cooney, banjo/vocals, Ben Dotson, lead vocals, Jacob Windham, guitar/vocals. Filmed at the 1892 Bishop's Palace in Galveston, Texas.

This is an excerpt from the pilot episode of American Classic TV program for PBS stations, about the 1892 Bishop's Palace/Gresham Home in Galveston, TX, which saved the lives of 100-200 people during the 1900 Storm, thanks to the efforts of the lady of the house, Mrs. Josephine Gresham.
