BadAss Uterus Choker
Handmade using white bronze PMC, silver clasp, and velvet cord
This jewelry piece, a uterus adorned with breasts and a harness, was inspired by conversations with close friends navigating endometriosis. Their stories revealed the profound, often invisible challenges of living with a body that demands attention through pain and under-researched medical realities tied to female anatomy.
The BadAss Uterus honors those hidden battles, from monthly cycles and aging to the quiet endurance required to sustain one’s sense of femininity amid internal complexity. I reclaim the uterus not as a symbol of politics or conflict, but as an unwavering source of power.
Ultimately, this choker is a representation of a portal within women and a celebration of the divine feminine that is resilient, generative, and deeply connected. Through this intimate wearable form, I invite viewers to consider the strength woven into women’s bodies that hold both profound challenges and the potential for life, connection, and creation.
In this show piece, displayed at , I used traditional metalsmithing methods to create the adjustable clasp in sterling silver. The main component, the BadAss Uterus, was formed using precious metal clay (PMC, specifically white bronze) and molding it with my hands and tools, almost like actual clay, into the form you see. It was then put in a kiln where it baked until the “clay” hardened into metal. This process shrinks the outcome slightly from the original size. I sanded and polished the baked PMC before sewing the black velvet around the uterus “arms” and the clasp, creating this BadAss Uterus Choker.
(if you read this far and want to know more about endometriosis, has a great informative pinned post on her feed to definitely check out as well as plus many others are beginning to shed light on endometriosis like )

Catching the end of the Gudauri ski/snowboarding season!
A little reel by
From Caucasus mountain snow to Georgian food like tarragon lemonade and Lobiani (bean filled bread), these are some of the things my handmade silver rings (featuring my new FREEDOM ring) touched while in Tbilisi and Gudauri, Georgia.
Gudauri Ski Adventure in Georgia (1st new country of the trip!) March 20-27th, 2026 (Day 31-38)
Arrived in Georgia and hit with the shock of “we have no idea what to expect!” (It was insane, crazy driving… that’s what you should expect) It was also 6am, barely any sleep from travel and having to RUN to not miss our flight! This set our goal for the time here to get fit so we can run with our backpacks without feeling like our lungs are bleeding 😅
We have extra time than we initially thought in Georgia since our flights to Thailand were cancelled. So we enjoyed the few days in Tbilsi trying the amazing Georgian food, experiencing this post Soviet era culture, and gathering our needed layers to ski in from the underground gigantic thrift store!! (Heaven 😇)
The crazy driving continued as we went up into the Caucasus Mountains to ski! I used to teach skiing and snowboarding so I was excited to teach how to ski for the first time! The mountains were incredibly beautiful, the snow powdery perfect, the people were so kind, and the food was delicious (going to the same amazing restaurant every day). Plus we got to drive a snowmobile for the first time!!
