He walked away—no goodbye, no explanation. Just gone.
But he didn’t leave empty-handed… he left pieces of himself behind. Two little hearts who waited at the door every night. Who curled into his arms. Who trusted him completely.

They don’t understand why he’s gone. But they stay close to me now—quiet shadows, offering comfort I never asked for, but always seem to need.

They were his. Now, they’re mine.
And somehow… they’re the only part of him that stayed.

Omg the very coziest and sweetest of dreams to all of us from our two recently-adopted-together seniors, Norton (left background) and Ryleigh (up close and personal) in bed with their mom!!!! 🤩

We rescued them both from different animal shelters at different times, but they both shared the same problem of finding themselves all alone in the world during what is supposed to be their golden years. 😩

Problem solved! Now they share the same bed with the same human in their shared home. 🥰

Love is a beautiful thing!!!
