Meet Riley Weeden, the newest member of the Austin Relational Wellness team! Riley works with couples and individuals who long to feel truly seen and heard in their relationships. She brings warmth, curiosity, and a deep belief that meaningful change is possible. 🌿
Her specialties include:
🩵 Couples stuck in conflict patterns or negative cycles
🩵 Individuals navigating perfectionism, people-pleasing & self-sacrifice
🩵 Anxiety, attachment wounds & complex trauma
🩵 Neurodivergence, body image & disordered eating
Before becoming a therapist, Riley studied Behavioral Neuroscience at the University of San Diego, and it was there that she became fascinated by the science of relationships and how essential human connection is, not just for survival, but for meaning and fulfillment. That curiosity led her to St. Edward’s University here in Austin, where she earned her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling. She now practices as a couples therapist using primarily Imago Relationship Therapy.
A few fun facts: Riley loves to golf, is a Reese’s Book Club devotee, and she’s never far from her puppy Nico. 🐾

I know. It’s not about the dishes. And you’re exhausted from being the only one who seems to get that.
But here’s the thing: your partner probably can’t hear “the dishes” for what it really means. To them, it really does sound like it’s about the dishes.
Try this instead: “When I’m the only one noticing what needs to be done, I feel alone in this partnership.”
Trust me, that lands different.
Follow for more if you’re tired of fighting about dishes when it was never about the dishes. 💙
And if you’re ready to stop having the same fight on repeat, we help couples in Texas learn how to actually hear each other. Link in bio to book a free consult.

Meet Kate! She’s a couples and individual therapist at Austin Relational Wellness with a heart for helping people build the connected, thriving relationships they deserve. 🌿
Her specialties include:
🩵 Couples stuck in patterns of miscommunication or disconnection
🩵 Infidelity & betrayal recovery
🩵 Young women navigating identity, anxiety, perfectionism & life transitions
🩵 Trauma-informed care & body image work
Before becoming a therapist, Kate worked as a consultant in Washington, DC, but she kept finding herself drawn to the people-oriented parts of her work. When the pandemic hit, she made the leap, and we’re so glad she did.
A few fun facts: Kate is a native Austinite who recently moved back after 13 years on the East Coast, she married into Eagles fandom 🦅, and she’s a self-proclaimed foodie who loves trying new restaurants and recipes.
