Congratulations to the new Texas LifeSmarts State Varsity Champions! Special thanks to Texas FCCLA! Bizeteen #texasfccla
FCCLA Region III Conference is in the books! Haven did a great job this year serving as the Region President and represented Zavalla well. We were also able to honor Ms. Caton on the regional level for all of her support, by bestowing the title of Honorary Member upon her. This is one of the highest honors given. Thanks, Haven and Ms.Caton, for all you've done for FCCLA! Results from FCSAs to come soon!

Welcome to the Gulf Coast Capital, Texas FCCLA Region V Leadership Conference! We hope you enjoy your stay!

If students only take an FCSA at a regional conference, do they need to register for the conference? We're really low on funds and trying to figure out how to get students to the event so that they can get eyes on what types of projects there are. We wouldn't be able to stay for any of the sessions.
I am extremely new to advising FCCLA and I'm trying to wrap my brain around all the different competitive events that students can participate in. We currently have 32 members, so if I'm understanding correctly, we can compete in 5 STAR events and 6 Proficiency events. Are the skill demonstration events always held online or ahead of regional competitions? What about Knowledge Bowl and FCSAs? Are there limits to how many students can compete in skill demonstration, knowledge bowl, or FCSAs? Are there any competitive events that I'm missing? Just want to correctly present the options to our members. Thanks!
Way to go Jacksonville FCCLA! Saw you on the news this morning!

Do ya'll know if I need to start a new chapter for FCCLA if they already have one at the high school in my district?
Keeping in mind that the theme this year is "A New Leaf". I just found a shirt with this saying that I will be using in my classroom:

Let's root for each other and watch each other grow.
