New work up now at ! All of these utilize sparkly bits I got from a bulk nail art supply purchase from an artist who was moving away, and of course upcycled wood. Sticking down tiny sequins and resin drops was an exercise in patience, bit it turned out so shiny!
The show comes down in one week, so get there quick to snag these!

There's a mini collection of abalone shard pieces up on my finished work wall right now, and I just submitted them all to various galleries. Doing this sort of mosiac approach is so satisfying, getting everything to fit just right and glued securely. This one on a heart shape I found at really shines, so I painted the florals in a duller color scheme to let the snake be the focal point. I've almost worked through the materials I bought from a nail artist moving away, so I'll have to find a new reuse source for these shell bits.
