I asked, and y’all delivered!!! The great classroom birthday party favor debate! With my daughter’s bday coming up, I asked for ideas for her school celebration…
Sharing some of my favorite suggestions:
1. Straight to jail Tom Miller
2. Buy a book off the teacher’s wish list. Write inside “in honor of so and so’s bday on (add date) send a cool pen with your kid on their birthday, have all the kids sign it and leave it with the teacher
3. Pencil topper fidget spinners
4. Science potion bath bombs (pricier option)
5. Cool sunglasses
6. Light up accessories
7. $2 (works for 2nd grade, could do $1 for 1st)

A Little Shady, a spinoff restaurant of Shady Grove, held a groundbreaking ceremony for its first location in Kyle, Texas.
The idea for the restaurant came from longtime Shady Grove proprietor Rusty Zagst, A Little Shady’s local owner and operator.

What a weekend!!!
TX OU 2025 🤘🧡🐮 We weren’t even gone 48 hours, but we made a lifetime of memories! Here’s one minute of the sights and sounds in Dallas at the Texas State Fair for the Red River Rivalry 🏈 from finally getting our pic with Arch Manning, getting to ride in the police es**rt with BEVO to the game, getting to experience the entry to the fair with Longhorns and Sooners lining the walkway, the Golden Hat! The Mi Cocina margaritas, the corn dogs, Big Tex, it was all so AWESOME!!!!

I’ve wanted to launch a blog for years and in my new phase of life as a working mom, and while recently filling in on the morning news, I was so tired and voila! I came up with the name. Real Mom, Real Tired. Because what mom isn’t?
My blog will not be a place where you’ll see perfectly posed and edited pictures. I literally do not have time for that. What you will get is a resource for moms, working moms and women who want to become moms.
Real Mom, Real Tired is a place to swap stories, seek advice and find new products that help make life easier. And if you happen to be shopping for a mom in your life, you will likely find something she will love.
