A little over a year ago, I started “Lene Music Studio” from scratch here in Austin.
What began as a small voice and piano studio has slowly grown into a space for sharing, creativity, growth, and community 🤍

Now we’re getting ready for our third showcase.
My students have worked incredibly hard for this performance, and I’m so proud of them.

After two years in the US, I went back to Italy for a vacation and realized life there had moved on without me.
I noticed it in the little things, like those bottle caps that don’t come off anymore (if you’ve been to Europe recently, you know what I mean 😅).
And for the first time, I felt like a stranger in my own country.

Like a Stranger is the final track of my EP, and it’s exactly about that.

I just want to thank the people in this video for being, and still being, part of my life.
I miss Italy more than I can say.

And now I want to take a moment to thank the people who helped me bring this EP to life.

First of all, a huge thank you to for the production, mixing and mastering.
And thank you to for recording the guitars on The Journey and Like a Stranger.

The cover photo was taken a few years ago by the amazing Italian photographer Fabrizio Mazzoni, who is sadly no longer with us.
It felt like the right image for this EP, and a small way to honor him 🤍

As a true Gemini, I guess all my personalities ended up in here 💃💃
