Sticks down, awards up, and plenty of laughs in between.
Last night we celebrated our JV and Varsity teams with a great meal and recognized our Skilled Player and Team Awards, Academic All-Stars, and Varsity Letter recipients.
Seniors kept everyone laughing as they presented awards to the underclassmen, and we honored our Class of 2026 one final time.
Most importantly, we want to extend our sincere gratitude to all of our parents, coaches, and volunteers. Your time, energy, and unwavering support make this program possible. Without you, these boys would not have the incredible experience of being part of Vipers Lacrosse. Thank you for everything you do.

Viper Nation, on April 14th we came together to to bring awareness to Childhood Cancer.
The Pierce Broe Award is named for one of our own, a player who truly loved being a Viper. It honors a youth athlete who demonstrates the same effort, dedication, and spirit that Pierce brought to the game.
In 2013, at just 10 years old, Pierce was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Even through that battle, he never stepped away from lacrosse. He showed up to practices, supported his teammates, and helped his coaches any way he could—earning honorary captain status for varsity games. His courage inspired all of us, and his impact is still felt today.
We honor the legacy of Pierce Broe by recognizing players who represent strength, courage, and heart in our Youth Program.
Congratulations to our 2026 Pierce Broe Award Nominees and Winner!

We are proud to Congratulate Hudson Steinberg as our Vipers Lacrosse Second to None Award honoree. Both the Second to None Award and Valor Day serve as essential traditions at Vandegrift High School, reminding students of our school’s namesake and inspiring them to embody the integrity, courage, and character that First Lieutenant Matthew Ryan Vandegrift represented.
