Hungry Souls

Come out this weekend to Authentic Details in Pflugerville for a Drive Out Hunger car meet and food drive benefiting Hungry Souls! Every food drive item donated will be your raffle entries for some great prizes! We’ll have food from local vendors, fun booths, and activities for the kids, so bring the whole family!

So much of what we do is only possible because of the amazing people that choose to spend their time serving with us throughout the week, week after week! We’re back in action for the summer, so if you’re interested in volunteering with us, check the link in our bio or head over to our website for available shifts!

Congratulations to our interns graduating tonight! 🎓 We’ve had the pleasure of working alongside these two throughout the school year, and we couldn’t be more proud of them! We’re so grateful to Bowie High School’s internship program for the opportunity to partner with such incredible students!

We are HONORED to be featured by P.Terry’s for their upcoming Giving Back Day! Next Saturday June 6th, join us at ANY P.Terry’s Austin area location to support Hungry Souls! Proceeds will go directly towards our program and providing meals for children in Central Texas. We can’t wait!

Meet Lance! Over the past year, he has become such an important part of our volunteer family, first serving during Tuesday morning unloading shifts and now becoming a core part of our Tuesday night packing parties.

Core volunteers like Lance help make our growth possible. Because of consistent volunteers like him, we’ve been able to expand our packing efforts and support even more families each week. He pours his heart into serving and brings his talents and skills to every shift. He is always finding ways to make processes more efficient and volunteering easier for others!

Lance's favorite part of serving is seeing the impact each meal has on local families: nourishing food, full weekend meals, and one less thing for parents to worry about. He also loves watching Hungry Souls continue to grow and reach more lives throughout our community.

We are so grateful for the dedication and joy he brings to Hungry Souls each week! 💚
